Congratulations to the Great Mongeham Society on its wonderful new website.
While in the churchyard this past Saturday, 21 July, I was able to locate the gravestone of my ancestor, pilot John Culmer, 1627-1671. On the stone it states that he died on 28 August (rather than on 16 August as listed on this website). Over the years I have collected a great deal of information regarding John Culmer, his ancestors and descendants. I would happy to send the information to the Society in the form of attachments to an e-mail. If the Society would like to have this information please e-mail me so that I will then have an e-mail address to which to send it.

Thank you for the correcdtion. Sue and Carol spent a long time collecdting the information. If there is an error in transcription it could well be my fault in copying their records. I will make the neccessary correction.
