Our year got off to a fine start when we all enjoyed a singalong to old Music Hall songs, led by the Spinning Jennys.

They came along dressed in fine period costume as you can see from the photos.

No business was conducted at the meeting as the last meeting in November was the AGM. The whole evening was taken up by the entertainment.

The band, consisting of keyboard, violin, guitar and bodhran performed from the stage

Rose Dowd led the singing, ably assisted by the chorus. The assembly joined in the chorus of several of the songs. In the interval we enjoyed a finger buffet, provided by members, washed down with glasses of wine or orange juice.

Our chairman’s children were invited to join the interval photoshoot and looked most becoming in their borrowed props.
